Urban areas

Towns and urban areas are a continuous source of noise as they are occupied at everytime. Not all the towns and villages have got the same influence in the environment, therefore they are split in different groups according to their population. The noise influence is represented by buffers using different distances according to the population.
The visibility maps displayed below show the areas that can see some parts of the towns. As it does not affects the same a big town with more industries than a village with small houses, it is calculated in different groups, and towns smaller than 4,000 citizens were not considered.
