Railways are other of the elements considered as source of noise and, therefore, it produces loss of tranquillity. If the line is moderately busy (6 trains per hour) this can be a very annoying element as noise produced by trains is quite loud. Their noise influence is represented by the creation of a 1km wide buffer.
The visibility of railways is another negative effect associated to this element. Therefore it was calculated using an average height of trains of 2m. All the railways located within the red square were taken into account in this calculation, but only the visibility inside the study area (green square) was used.
